honorable history
The date of construction is unknown, but the main shrine is a stone chamber located in the mountains within the temple grounds, making it a rare shrine with only 0.5 tsubo (approx. 3.2 m2) of floor space protruding outside.
The worship hall was rebuilt in 1981.
The former name was also known as Benzaiten Yutsuhime Benzaiten. There are also events held at the end of the month.
